Hudson river highway bridge to span 3,500 ft
Bridge has main suspension span of 3500 ft. which provides initial 40-ft. roadway, with provision for two later 24-ft. roadways, and lower deck to carry from two to six lines of rapid-transit tracks or vehicular roadways, or combination of both; bridge will be increased in capacity as demand requires; erection methods; making cables.
