Roofing, roofing insulation, and heating arrangements for University of Minnesota's field house; enormous stadium, walled and roofed in against weather; comfortable seating capacity for 17,500 persons; roof is of insulated asphalt composition on 20-gage steel-plate base anchored to roof steel framing and has area of 117,000 sq. ft.; total cost of building and its equipment was $650,000; ground dimensions are 236 by 446 ft.; trusses are of three-hinged type; truss members, both chord and web, are Bethlehem shapes, H, G and I sections all 12 in. in depth.
