Experiments conducted under fire conditions at drill schools in California and Pennsylvania; in each test pulse rate and oral temperature of 5 men were taken before entering and immediately after leaving building; records kept of how long men were exposed to heat and physical activity during exposure; results show no serious after-effects; with proper training and equipment firemen can enter heated areas fatal to average person.
