St. Mary's Bridge over River Don at Doncaster, is balanced cantilever 3-span welded steel structure supported on concrete piers and abutments, having central span 61 ft and side spans of 34 ft; piers and abutments were constructed within temporary sheet steel pile cofferdams; decking consists of 9-in. thick reinforced concrete slabs spanning main bridge girders; roadwork features.
