Improvements in recuperative soaking pits fired from floor center
Results of studies made by Dnepropetrovsk metallurgical institute have shown that recuperative soaking pits fired from floor center are made much more efficient by injecting air by means of jet of high pressure steam as opposed to using pressure fans. (See also Stal v 19 n 11 Nov 1959 p 1023-8)
