Roughness measurement of pavements
Surface testing by casting method has certain disadvantages; proven method is graphite dusting of surface and taking negative print from dust by pressed-on film material; positive prints from film can be easily evaluated; other method uses plexiglass plate with number of vertical needles which adapts to height or depth of surface differences; figures show surfaces as they appear in graphite and in needle method.
