Peak discharge related to hydrologic characteristics in new england
Description of study to determine causes of variation in flood peaks from place to place and to improve methods of defining flood frequency relations; 164 stream gaging stations of region were used in study; procedures of study are described and compared with previous studies; peaks at each station were plotted on log-probability graph paper, and graphical frequency curves were drawn; maps and graphs are given.
