Concrete caisson gate for dry dock in Hamburg
"Elbe 17" drydock is largest in Europe, and was reconditioned and fitted with new caisson type gate with oa length of 62.60 m, molded breadth of 13.60 m, and depth of 15.01 m from coping to sill; it differs from conventional caisson in being constructed of reinforced concrete instead of steel.
