Latex modified concrete for resurfacing
Synthetic latex modifiers, in combination with sand, form unusually tough adhesive layer that tenaciously bonds old to old and new to old concrete; mixes have also proved valuable for ceramic tile grout and bedding, coating for industrial insulation, brick and concrete block mortars, and dust proofing concrete floors; various uses are discussed; requirements for surface preparation, mixing, placement, and finishing; latex mix needs no air entrainment.
