Two-layer beams of reinforced concrete and steel-polymer concrete
Tests of five series of beams with cross section of 10×20 cm, 120 cm long, with polymer-concrete layer of 0 to 95 mm, established optimum thickness of layer in expanded area and basic principles of behavior of combined beams under defecting forces; test results showed that utilization of components described makes it possible to reject in most cases prestressing of reinforcement.
