Rigidity of reinforced, expanded clay, concrete beams; purpose is to verify theory of linear changes in rigidity of beams; reinforced, rectangular cross-section beams were subjected to bending up to collapse; using formulas derived and test results, values of parameters in equation of deflection, yielding and cracking of concrete were found; these parameters are necessary for determining deformation elements -- curvature, angle of rotation and deflection; measured and theoretical deflections are compared.
