Calculation of membrane stresses in hyperbolic cooling towers
Calculation of stresses, due to wind- and dead-loading, is reduced to numerical integration; no approximations are made in reducing equations of equilibrium to form used in computations; integrals are evaluated readily on automatic computer, and results of specimen calculations are presented.
