Measurement of pressure between rigid wall and compressible medium by means of pressure cells
Three types of pressure distribution between pressure cell and compressible medium are uniformly distributed pressure, axially symmetrical pressure distribution, and arbitrary pressure distribution; pressure distributions refer to imaginary state in which deflections of front plate are 0 everywhere; compressible medium is assumed to be homogeneous and isotropic and to follow Hooke's law.
