Project comprises construction of 3 new berths for 10,000 ton ships; description of excavation of 28,000 cu m, placing of 26,500 cu m reinforced concrete and use of 16,500 cu m concrete for centrifugal casting of piles; 6400 tons of reinforcing steel and 5500 tons of structural steel were used; special fender system was needed due to high and extremely rapidly rising tides.
