Description of concrete tanks built at paint company plant in which reinforcing rods have been prestressed, to end that considerable loads are carried by relatively thin sections and that cracks from tension and shrinkage are eliminated; use of concrete dome roofs 60 ft in diam, which carry central concentrated load of 20 tons.
