Continuation of description indexed in Feb 21 and 28 issues of same journal under heading of BRIDGE PIERS -- Construction; bridge especially notable for swing span with weight of 1600 tons and length of 364 ft; this is flanked on each side by seven 100-ft steel spans; from northern bank, bridge is approached by embankment and three 60-ft steel spans; design and construction methods described.
