Resistivity surveys for water in limestones and in other hard rocks
Vertical resistivity sounding employed in search for underground water in calcareous tablelands of Apulia and Venetian Prealps; in areas where fissuration is fairly distributed, three superposed layers of diminishing resistivities may be distinguished from electric field-curves; comparison of them with existing wells shows that they correspond to dry limestone, fresh water impregnation and salt water.
