Regional travel patterns of small metropolitan area
Purpose of this research investigation was to study intercommunity traffic linkages between Fort Wayne, Ind, and surrounding communities in northeastern Indiana, northwestern Ohio, and southern Michigan; estimation models were developed to predict both trip total and trip purpose interchanges between various classes of urban centers; results of this investigation are given as mathematical models which represent relationships between community statistics and regional trip interchange.
