A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Soil, concrete, and steel properties contributing to corrosion in buried pipes and reservoirs are examined; from results of scale model studies, diagrams are established permitting determination of optimum form and dis-position of anodes; principles and construction of protective systems with expendable and permanent anodes, as well as automatic system for controlling current impressed on permanent anodes. (See also n 3 Mar 1966 p 101-8, n 10 Oct p 321-7)
