While much has been said about rural development and improving condition of masses in India, too little attention has been given to approaches from main roads to villages; economic losses to farmers, due to poor condition of roads; estimate of cost of replacing " Kucha" (Kacha or dirt road) by "pucca" (genuine) road; suggestions for financing "creteway" strips to improve traffic conditions.
