LNER is replacing by concrete structures of modern design, timber shacks which in past have been provided as shelters for engineers' staff working on permanent way, hut is rectangular in shape and will normally accommodate 3 to 6 men; they are constructed in sections, so that they can readily be dismantled and re-erected on other sites.
