Unsymmetrical bending of prestressed annular plates
Boundary layer technique of matched asymptotic expansions is used to obtain solution for deflection of highly prestressed thin annular plate; plate is fixed at outer boundary and has central rigid inclusion that is rotated out of plane of plate; exact solution is also derived, and it is shown that boundary layer solution compared favorably with exact solution.
