Micro-analysis of nitrogen in gasoline fractions
Abstract A new method was developed for micro-analysis of nitrogen in gasoline fractions, which involves the reduction of nitrous compounds with Raney nickel to strong bases with a pK = 3–5. The minimum nitrogen content determined by this method is 4 × 10−5 %. The error of determination is less than 2 × 10t5̄ %. One determination takes 1·5–2·0 hr.
