Hydro-isomerization of normal paraffins
Abstract A multi-component mixture of C6C16 normal and branched hydrocarbons was obtained by destructive hydrogenation of n-hexadecane. The chemical composition of the hydrogenated product was qualitatively established and it was shown that the WS2+NiS catalyst has high activity in isomerization under hydrogen pressure.
