    Abstract It was shown that as regards activity Ru/Al2O3 catalysts in hydrogenation of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are superior to Pd/Al2O3 catalysts. Hydrogenation of xylenes on a Ru/Al2O3 catalysts takes place mainly with the formation of cis-isomers.
