AbstractA city or town such as Paris disturbs the climate and creates a substantial source of pollution because of the gathering of its dwellers who live, work and move within its boundaries. It is exactly as if the centre of Paris represented the centre of emission of the pollutant. According to the normal average values of strong acidity rates, the wind coming from the capital carrys the most pollutants for the agglomeration. But the intensity of the average of the pollution rates depends on the position of the recording station in Paris. The high peaks are caused by the approach of anticyclonic air masses from the east sector.
