AbstractCevennes National Park and Biosphere Reserve is located in the southern part of the French central Mountains, and is the site of a series of projects aimed at preserving a historical, cultural and natural landscape and protecting the traditional agricultural values and practices associated with that landscape. The concept of ecodevelopment is pursued through a series of projects that address energy requirements, agricultural practices, vernacular buildings and building materials, educational programs and the development of an ecomuseum.
