Visco-elastic behaviour of the soil-geotextile interface: a theoretical approach
AbstractNumerical models, such as finite-element approaches, used to consider the soil-geotextile interface fail to take into account this interface at its real extent. This paper discusses how recent visco-elastic theories of polymers can be applied to the soil-geotextile interface in order to calculate its real extent.
