Hydrogenation of 4-vinylcyclohex-1-ene in the presence of rhodium complexes
Abstract 4-Vinylcyclohex-1-ene was hydrogenated in the presence of rhodium complexes with various ligands (acetylacetone, triphenylphosphine, fluorescein and aromatic disulphoacids). It was established that with the absorption of 1 mole hydrogen the yield of ethylcyclohexene is 99%. A study was made of the dependence on solvent and temperature of the rate of hydrogenation of 4-vinylcyclohex-1-ene in the presence of Rh-fluorescein.
