Anti-oxidative action of triazine derivatives in hydrocarbon fuel
Abstract 1. The kinetics of inhibited oxidation of fuel T-6 was studied in the presence of phenol derivatives of symm-triazine. 2. The high efficiency of the compounds studied is due to the high rate of interaction with peroxide radicals, which is low in the chain propagation reaction via the hydrocarbons of the medium, and the inhibiting form of the transformation products. 3. Triazine S-3 is able to interact with hydroperoxides to form products, that vigorously break down hydroperoxides.
