AbstractStud frame systems are now being used worldwide for construction of an ever-increasing range of structures from multi-storey hotels and office blocks to functional warehouses and single-storey housing. In this paper the author deals with stud frame and GRC and concentrates on the bonding of single skin GRC membranes to frames of a variety of materials. Methods of manufacture and constructional fixing are reviewed together with details of jointing, anchoring and advantages offered.
