New results of the study in wind turbine aerodynamics
Abstract Presented are the results of the study in developing a high-efficiency three-blade horizontal axis with turbine (HAWT). Given are the data on the T-2 6 m diameter wind tunnel tests of a 1.5 m diameter model at various blade incidence angles. Considerations on wind turbine rated speed ratio choice are provided and an analysis of HAWT operation at constant rotation speed is made. High efficiency of the offered wind turbine in comparison with the known units is stressed.
