AbstractThis paper presents the numerical implementation, calibration, and validation of the hygro-thermo-chemical model formulated theoretically in the companion paper [Di Luzio G, Cusatis G. Hygro-thermo-chemical modeling of high-performance concrete. I: Theory. Cem Concr Compos, in press, doi:10.1016/j.cemconcomp.2009.02.015.]. Calibration and validation are based on experimental data gathered from the literature and relevant to hydration, self-desiccation, and drying of standard and high-performance concrete with and without silica fume.
