Characteristics of fluctuating wind pressure on long low-rise buildings with gable roofs
AbstractCharacteristics of mean wind pressure and peak wind pressure on the long low-rise building with gable roof are examined in this study. The source of wind direction to decide the design value might not necessarily be , because large negative value of mean wind pressure and peak wind pressure is generated on the leeward surface for . In the visualization test, it is confirmed that the main sources of the large negative value are the vortices generated on the leeward side of the building.
