Bored tunnels under deep waterways: What lies ahead?
AbstractThis paper deals with future subaqueous tunnels: first, by describing briefly some of the bored tunnelling opportunities that are being considered at the present; and then by suggesting ways in which technology may need to be developed in order to carry out these projects. The paper also considers the financial implications of such research and development.
