Oxidation of mesitylene by an ozone-oxygen mixture
Abstract 1. A study was made of catalytic oxidation of mesitylene by an ozone-oxygen mixture in acetic acid at atmospheric pressure and a temperature of 150°. 2. A system was proposed for main chemical conversions which explains the role of variable valency metals in oxidation of mesitylene by an ozone-oxygen mixture.
