Results of heat-moisture tests of flat roof of various types
Abstract This paper describes the results of a wide range of flat roof construction, ventilated and unventilated. These were carried out over a period of two years in an experimental pavilion specially built for this purpose. The inside of the building was divided into two parts one to which was maintained at 72% relative humidity, 22°C dry bulb temperature, and the other at 30–40% relative humidity and the same dry bulb temperature. The performance of the various roofsis described and practical recommendations are presented based on the test results.
