Effect of impurities upon the rate of dehydrogenation of n-paraffins
Abstract Naphthalene and indene impurities to 3 wt.% in C10C14 paraffin fractions various petroleums, have no effect upon the rate of dehydrogenation of these higher n-paraffins. Higher alkylbenzenes contained in the recirculating paraffins markedly reduce the rate of dehysdrogenation.
