Computational support for building evaluation: Embedded Commissioning Model
AbstractPersistent evaluation of design throughout the building delivery process is a challenging task. Isolated measurements with discrete objectives typify current practices. However the goal of the AEC industry should be the improvement of the quality of buildings through continuous evaluation. This paper describes our research on an Embedded Commissioning Model, which proposes a building information model to make architectural evaluation a persistent part of the building lifecycle.
