Effect of low temperature on the flexural behaviour of polypropylene mesh reinforced fibre cement composite
AbstractA woven polypropylene mesh has been used to reinforce a cement matrix. Results are presented of four point flexural bend tests at a temperature of −30°C for various loading rates. The results show that while the composite becomes stiffer it does not become brittle.
