Highly efficient heterogenous catalyst for acylation of alcohols and amines using natural ferrous chamosite
AbstractAn efficient acylation of alcohols and amines employing carboxylic acid as an acylating agent using ferrous chamosite-natural marine clay as the heterogeneous and reusable catalyst has been realized for the first time, through the tuning of the reaction by simple exposure of the reactants to conventional heating or ultrasound irradiation in the absence of any additive under ligand and solvent free conditions.
