Experimental investigation of horizontal axis wind turbine dynamic stall in a wind tunnel
Abstract This paper presents the results of the study of the dynamic stall on horizontal axis wind turbines. Pressure values are measured at fixed points on the suction side of the blade using Kulite transducers, and the effective blade angle using a crossed hot-wire anemometer installed upstream of the leading edge. Results put into evidence the importance of unsteady phenomena.
