Bond of deformed reinforcing bar embedded in steel fibre reinforced concrete
AbstractIt is known that the addition of steel fibres leads to a reduction of crack width of bending elements in reinforced concrete. It is, however, not established whether this effect is only due to the proven transfer of tensile force by the fibres across cracks or also because of an improvement of bond of the embedded deformed bar reinforcement by fibres. It is the aim of this report to enchance knowledge about bond of reinforcement embedded in fibre reinforced normal concrete.
