AbstractThe possibilities of utilising linseed stalk, an agrowaste material, for the production of pulp and paper have been explored. Trials to prepare kraft pulp using various concentrations of kraft liquor are discussed. Paper from 20% kraft pulp exhibited superior properties, suitable for wrapping, writing and printing papers.
