Assessment of the radiation dose in the Republic of Croatia after the chernobyl reactor accident
AbstractDoses for the individual in the population of Croatia (Western Yugoslavia) for 131I, 134Cs, 137Cs and 89Sr i 90Sr were calculated based on fallout and dietary data. Estimations were made for one-year-old infants, children at the age of ten and adults. The corresponding effective dose equivalents were 1.4 mSv, 0.8 mSv and 0.7 mSv, respectively.
