AbstractThis paper is a brief report on some important subjects and results investigated in the JSCE Geotechnical Committee on Seikan Tunnel. A theoretical study of the effect of drainage and the optimum extent of grouting based on the theory of elasto-plasticity in terms of effective stress is presented in some detail.
RésuméCet article est un court rapport sur les sujets importants et sur les résultats considérés par le comité géotechnique JSCE à propos du tunnel de Seikan. On présente une étude théorique, basée sur la théorie élasto-plastique en termes des contraintes effectives, des effets du drainage et de l'étendue optimale de la cimentation.
