Full-scale measurement and wind-tunnel testing of wind loading on two neighboring cooling towers
Abstract This paper presents the surface pressure (mean as well as fluctuating) distribution acting on two hyperbolic cooling towers at different gap-ratios under different wind directions by wind tunnel model test in simulated atmospheric boundary layer stream. Preliminary results of full-scale measurement of pressures on two neighboring towers of 120m high are also given.
