Bore-hole survey at dome GRIP 1991
AbstractBore hole logging performed as part of the GRIP deep drilling shows a close connection between drilling stability and hole diameter. Differences in hole diameters of up to 0.5 mm do not seem to affect the drilling. The temperature profile provides information about past temperatures and implies that the ice is frozen at the bedrock.
