Two circular cylinders in high-turbulence flow at supercritical Reynolds number
AbstractResults of wind-tunnel study on time-mean pressure on two circular cylinders in various arrangements, as well as fluctuating pressure in some cases, in high-turbulence uniform flow (Iu = 10%) at supercritical Reynolds number (Re=6.5×105) are presented in this paper. The interference effects between two cylinders are different for different angles of incident wind and different gap ratios, though variations of magnitude of overall effect may not be large, except for very small gap ratios.
