Outlines the basic items to look for when compiling an up-to-date report on any particular thatch. Provides a glossary of thatching terms. Suggests that each thatched roof should be assessed on its merits, and advice sought from either the local Master Thatcher′s Association, or a fully experienced and reputable thatcher.
